Having your Energy Evaluation done by a BPI accredited contractor makes you eligible for NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority) incentives, rebates and low-interest loans.
The Energy Evaluation includes a visual inspection, testing your combustion appliances for safety and efficiency and performing a blower door test to assess the air-tightness of the building. With the measurements and test results, we apply heat loss calculations and other building science formulas to evaluate the efficiency and safety of various aspects of your building and appliances.
We provide you with a report with the results of your audit and our recommendations for efficiency and/or safety improvements for the building, including the costs for these measures, amount of potential energy savings per improvement, savings to investment ratios, and potential payback times.
EcoLogic Home has developed business relationships with various contractors who perform energy related work in order that we can recommend specific contractors who we have determined to be both capable and ethical. We work closely with these contractors in a project management capacity, and do a final test after the work is complete. This process insures the highest standard of quality.
We believe that when you make a substantial investment in your home or business, it should be accompanied by the highest level of quality assurance. It is the Ecologic Home Energy Evaluation process, and our trusted contractors that give you that high level of quality assurance.
